PRAISE LIST, PRAYER LIST & ANNOUNCEMENTS—August 19, 2026

PRAISES TO THE LORD:

Ruth Lange – She was able to have a great Gospel centered conversation with a Muslim friend of hers. She invited her to attend Green Hill. Praise the Lord that she is becoming more open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Melody Harrelson – The house she has been seek to sell has finally sold! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!

PRAYER LIST:



Pastor Jeff – He has pinched nerves on both sides of L4 / L5 in his lower back causing continual pain and neuropathy. He had an MRI last week which showed 2 bulging discs and 2 cysts with one sitting on a nerve root. Pray for clear answers and healing in how to deal with these findings!

Derrick Brigman - His lower back pain has returned a few weeks after having shots. He is waiting to have another round of shots. Prayers for healing!

Neta Foster - She is currently dealing with Bronchitis and Pneumonia in one of her lungs. Prayers for healing!

Johnny Foster – He is now at home. Prayers for his legs to continue regaining strength so that he can successfully walk unassisted. ALSO, please pray for Lori and Neta as they are having much difficulty caring for him.

 ANNOUNCEMENTS:

During the month of August, the Missions Committee is seeking to raise $1,500 for our partner church plant in Ukraine (Life + Church).  These funds will provide them with a self-sufficient water well as Russia is bombing Ukraine’s water supply. Please pray about how the Lord might use you to help meet this vital need through this special Love Offering fundraiser.  We only need $450 to meet this goal!

Quarterly Review will be August 23rd.

Bible Study continues on Mondays, at 10:30 AM. We are studying the different denominations. Bible study will not meet September 7th due to holiday.

Packing Snack bags for the schools will be September 3rd at 4 PM.

Monday, September 7th is Labor day and the church office will be closed.

Sunshine Ministry will be held September 8^th at 11 AM with a $6 meal request per person. Men and Women’s ministry meetings start back that night at 7 PM.

Coffee and Pastries will be starting back September 19th, 8:30 AM—10 AM.  Volunteers needed.
