Praises and Prayer to the Lord – May 29, 2025

Sherri McKisick (Austin Powell’s mother-in-law) - she was given approx. 3-6 mos. to live in December 2024 due to terminal cancer. She is still living and her latest scan showed that the cancer has not grown, nor spread further!! Pray for her comfort when she receives Chemo every 4 weeks and pray for a miracle of healing!

Derrick Brigman - we have been praying for him to secure a job. God has answered our prayers! He has successfully secured a job and began work this past Monday!!!

Steve Hallman - Kashton had surgery last week. He is eating normal and holding his head up much more - God is good! Pray for him to have strength, no pain, and a quick recovery. Pray also for Katie as she cares for her son.

Betty Boatwright- her heart ablation procedure last week was a success! She is feeling better. Let’s continue to pray for her full recovery!

Tony and Kathy Lindner - last week their granddaughter (Clara Kate) was born. She came early and is in the hospital. She’s drinking from a bottle! She is off of IV fluids, off the CPAP, and off the blue light. She is making progress; however, prayers needed for her to gain weight and be able to eat regularly without the feeding tube. 

Zachary McCaskill - (Shiela and Monty’s son) He has done so well in his recovery from back surgery, that he is pain free AND went back to work!!!

Evans Ulwami - in Kenya, Africa had successful knee surgery last week.  Let us pray for his complete recovery so he can get back to full capacity ministering to people. Praise the Lord for this and that we were able to help make this surgery possible through designated missions’ gifts!

Earl Boatwright: Please pray for the family of Earl’s niece, Dana Boatwright, who went to be with the Lord this past weekend.

Joey Rentiers: is recovering from back surgery. She is at Encompass Rehab (room # is 258-B). She is making improvements every day. She will remain at Encompass until June 2. Continue to pray for her.

Mike Winters: he is scheduled to have his Aortic Valve in his heart replaced through Heart Catheterization on Wednesday, June 4th. Pray for a successful procedure and recovery.
