Green Hill News
The Green Hill family would like to thank the congregation and staff of the First Baptist Church of West Columbia, and the Lexington Baptist Association for allowing us to meet in their facilities on Sundays and Wednesdays while our fire damage is being repaired. We have had already had tremendous worship experiences at both sites, and our hosts could not have been more gracious.
Our Wednesday Bible Study begins at 6:30pm, and will be held at the Lexington Baptist Association offices until further notice. RA's, GA's and Mission Friends will meet as scheduled at the Lexington Baptist Association.
Green Hill Baptist Church will once again worship this Sunday morning, August 22, at the First Baptist Church of West Columbia at 9:30 a.m. We will operate on the same schedule as last week. If you have any questions, please call the church office at 794-5125.
Sunday School has resumed, thanks to the generosity of our brothers and sisters at First Baptist West Columbia. It will be held from 10:45 until 11:30 in the Sunday School rooms at First Baptist. All Green Hill members are invited to attend. If you would like to find out more information, or to ask where you class will be located, please call the church office at 794-5125.
Home Discipleship Groups
Currently plans are in place to resume our Sunday evening Home Discipleship Groups as soon as possible. The target date is Sunday evening, September 5. If you hosted a home group this past Spring, you will be contacted soon. However, more hosts will likely be needed, so if you would be willing to either teach a group, or offer your home as a meeting location, please call the church office at 794-5125. Materials are being ordered now, so please respond asap so that we can meet our September 5 goal.
